About Erie Street Market & Vintage Mall

We’re building a space where history, creativity, and local entrepreneurship meet.

The Erie Street Market & Vintage Mall is a phased revitalization project bringing new life to one of Toledo’s most iconic spaces through curated retail, independent vendors, community activation, and future food entrepreneurship.

Our mission is simple: create a place where people can shop intentionally, discover locally, and invest in Toledo’s creative economy.

What begins as a vintage mall becomes something much larger: a cultural anchor for sustainable small business growth, neighborhood energy, and community belonging.

PHASE ONE:
Retail Revival

Phase One focuses on launching the Vintage Mall retail experience, featuring:

  • curated vintage vendors

  • antiques and collectibles

  • independent makers

  • local small businesses

  • rotating pop-ups and specialty events

  • community programming

This phase establishes the retail ecosystem and creates a destination built around discovery, sustainability, and shared opportunity.

PHASE TWO:
Food Business Incubator

Once the retail marketplace is thriving, Phase Two will activate the final bay as a food small business incubator. This future phase will support emerging culinary entrepreneurs with:

  • low-barrier startup opportunities

  • test kitchen and pop-up concepts

  • mentorship and operational support

  • community-centered food experiences

  • pathways into long-term brick-and-mortar growth

The vision is to help Toledo’s next generation of food founders launch sustainably and visibly.

Why Erie Street?

Erie Street has long been part of Toledo’s commercial and cultural memory.

This revitalization honors that legacy while building something future-facing: a space rooted in sustainability, discovery, and opportunity for the next generation of entrepreneurs.

We are preserving place while creating possibility.

This is how Toledo’s next cultural anchor gets built:

one vendor, one visitor, and one shared vision at a time.
